Welcome to the First Reform Mormon General Conference!
Reform Mormonism is a living, thoughtful, and deeply personal expression of the Restoration tradition. We honor the radical spirit of early Mormonism—a movement born of bold ideas, creative experimentation, and the search for divine truth outside conventional boundaries. Our spiritual ancestors embraced direct revelation, new scripture, and communal models of living, and though their paths were messy and complex, they were driven by the belief that the sacred could be found through personal experience and continuous growth. Reform Mormons carry forward this legacy, not by replicating its forms, but by embodying its essence: we seek truth wherever it may be found, and we believe in the power of individuals to shape their own relationship with the Divine.
This inaugural General Conference is a celebration of that spirit. We gather not to be instructed by authorities, but to share with one another—to bear testimony, express curiosity, and deepen our understanding of the sacred in all its forms. Our theme, “Reclaiming,” reflects our desire to take back what is beautiful in our tradition: the poetry, the power, the progressive vision that once dared to say we are gods in embryo. Whether you are here to listen, share, reflect, or connect, we invite you to take part in a community that values authenticity over authority, exploration over dogma, and eternal progression above all else. Welcome—we’re so glad you’re here.

Announcements
A new edition of “The Doctrine and Covenants of the Mormon Community (Reform)” is being produced. This new edition will be expanded to include every Reform Mormon proclamation as well as basic guidelines for performing ordinances.
A Reform Mormon edition of the Book of Mormon is also being produced. This version will be a lightly-modified Nauvoo Edition of the text, and will be broken into verses based off of Royal Skousen’s Yale Edition. This edition is being produced in anticipation of a study group being formed as well as it being used as a base for future editions, such as a plain-text edition.
If transcripts of Conference talks are not yet available, all will soon be gathered and published as Journal of Discourses Volume 27. Check ReformMormon.com/Library soon!
There is interest in writing more Reform Mormon hymns, and possibly even write a hymnal. Contact us if you are interested.
The Second Reform Mormon General Conference will be held October 4-5, 2025. Stay tuned for the theme!
