In 1 Corinthians 3 and Hebrews 5:11–14, Paul speaks of spiritual growth — of moving from “milk” to “meat.” Milk nourishes the spiritually young, but meat is for those ready to wrestle with deeper truths. In the summer of 1829, Joseph Smith Jr. echoed this same principle in conversation with Martin Harris, acknowledging that some doctrines must wait until people are prepared to receive them.
As Reform Mormons, we believe we are ready to go deeper. We want to explore mature faith, expansive theology, and boldly pursue spiritual growth.
This is why our third conference’s theme is: “From Milk to Meat”
